These quilts are from across the world by artists who answered the call to be part of the Lions Club of Quilters Victoria International Quilt Challenge.
A celebration of humanity, honouring our world – coming together – learning through our differences and affinities. The works created as part of this special global quilt challenge reflect natural, man-made, cultural or historical representations of a variety of countries and communities.
All of these quilts will be assigned to a permanent and historic collection curated and preserved by the Australian Quilt & Textile Collection. They will be exhibited at the Lions Clubs International Convention in Melbourne 2024, and at the Pour l’Amour du Fil in Nantes, France in 2025. The will also be available for galleries to exhibit.
